Information
The
Coastal Carolina Orchid Society is a non-profit organization
affiliated with the American Orchid Society.
We give people
interested in orchids in the Charleston, South Carolina area
an opportunity to learn more about orchids
and a chance to
interact with other orchid enthusiasts.
Originally chartered in 1977, our society was reorganized
in February 1996, after being inactive for several years.
We have approximately 100 active members.
CCOS meets at the
Sherman House 1635 Raoul Wallenberg Boulevard, Charleston SC, at 2:30 pm, on the second
Sunday of even numbered months. Click

are enthusiastically welcomed, and are encouraged to come
and share in our enjoyment of Orchidaceae, one of the largest
families of flowering plants in the world.
